Disaster follows disasters Blackview BV5000 got propably the best ROM after 6.0 disasters. 3/8 of our BV5000 have updated ROM now. Unlucky me, 5/8 our BV5000 have broken screens/frames.

"Rugged" phone which cannot take drop from less than 2 feet height to soft carpet/grassland Not to mention, 5/5 of those broken phones have not been covered by warranty.

And then another disaster, 3 of our BV6000 do not recognise SIM-card after OTA-update Jesus Blackview, do you ever test ROMs before publishing?

Every time I try to update OTA is shows already updated.

The ROM works perfect for me , maybe i'm lucky , the only error I had with the other 6.0 rom was the performance , now i'ts mostly perfect(The screen broke very easyly at the first fall but I don't think that is gonna be fixed with an update ).
Btw this phone will get android Nougat?

This update destroy all my data. It gets encrypted without asking any permission or password.
And my topic about it is allowed.
That is how right of free speech work.

Hello, Same problem here.
I am in France, my system updated in OTA to the BV5000_C1_Blackview_V1.2_20160608 but no Android 6 in sight...When asking the phone to look for updates it says it is up to date. And the tar file given in the first post of this feed is not recognised for local updates.

Also, the network download speed is incredibly slower with the 1.2 : despite being able to reach over 50 mbps down whith my sim in another phone, my BV5000 is doing kbps in v 1.2...

Could you help me ?

My BV5000 also says that it's using the most up-to-date version when I'm trying OTA upgrade.
It's running: BV5000_C1_Blackview_V1.2_20151023

If you failed to receive a OTA update, you can choose to get a upgrade via flash tools.
