My Sim card slot 1 stopped working. It's not being recognised at all. Did factory reset etc. Tested Sim card in another phone and it's fine. Tried someone else's Sim in my phone and still not working, help.

I have the same problem.
Again and again I get the message that there is no sim card inserted although
it is displayed in the settings on sim slot 1.

I suspect a loose contact or a software problem, because the ringtone is always forgotten when the error occurs.
I bought the Blackview BV9800 Pro as a backer from Kickstarter, so there is no way for to get it fixed by a locally reseller
and i would not be happy if i should send it to anywhere in Honkong. 
So please check if it's a software problem and if so please provide an update !

Could the problems be due to the fact that I use an Austrian mobile network (HOT / T-Mobile) ?
Is the Smartphone not adapted to the European frequencies ? 

A SIM card exchange (3 times from my provider) did not bring any success
so far and with all other Smartphones the SIM card works without any problems ...

It seems that the problem is a software-only problem.
Why i think this ?
I am a software development engineer and i tried the following exactly 3 times,
so the bug it's absolutly repeatable !

• Get a new sim card from my provider (Austria's Hot - Mobile network which comes from the T-Mobile provider)
• Call the service for an sim-card exchange
• After 10 min the sim-card exchange has been done
• The Blackview BV9800 Pro will now work again for about 3 month
• The sim card will not working after 3 month again - but only in the blackview smartphone -
  testing the sim-card in an other phone (Samsung, OnePlus, Nokia, ...) will work without any problems.

So it's a software only problem because how it could be that when i change the sim-card
it will continue work for 3 months but the same unuseable sim card on blackview phone
will still continue work on each other phones i tested ?
Right - a software problem, the hardware is working right - 
otherwise a sim-card change will also not work...

It seems that is a android problem - so when does the android 10 rom is coming ?
