Verizon cannot confirm without a IMEI number. They suggested asking for one to use to verify compatibility on their end.

I can confirm that this phone does indeed work with Verizon.  I'm currently using it on a Tracfone plan which uses Verizon's network.  The signal is pretty much the same as my old phone.

They told me it will work with Verizon
