Hi, I've seen it is already available for this device. Has anyone tried it? Does the thermal camera work fine on this rom? Share experience please

I'll try in a couple of days/hours.  I was looking around and I discovered that the thermal camera is actually called "MyFLIR for Cat S61" under the play store.  I can assume that the camera will work but not sure.  I'll update when I get to this!

Hello, what does it mean?

We talk about Lineage 17.1 OS. It is custom ROM, which have much more features than stock rom. In other words - it should be less energy consuming and faster, also feature rich rom. By the way it is based on Android 10. It would be awesome if Blackview devices would come with Lineage OS as stock ROM.

Any progress on the same would help many in the bv9800 user community. The stock rom is not up to the mark. Wishing you all the best in the development of the same, do keep us updated.

@salto I did not manage to Flash LOS 17.1.
Do you have any luck?

Unfortunately, I couldn't get past the boot logo.  I tried both a dirty flash and then a clean flash and still got the same results.  So we'll have to wait till someone with more experience fixes it for us  .
