BV9800 Pro Walkie Talkie?

Does the BV9800 Pro Walkie Talkie function require a cellular data signal or Wi-Fi to function?
What is the range without any data signal to communicate with other walkie talkies?
Is the frequency choice programmable with many options?

Hi,
Zello App is Your best bet. The connection is over cellular network only. Zello is best walkie-talkie app.

It would be best to remove the misleading info or photo or ad from the product page. Walkies Talkie is important to many.

If the bv9800 doesn't have a built in walkie talkie than blackview might reconsider what they are advertising on there webstie. It sure looks like it has a walkie talkie function that doesn't require cell or wifi signal based on the "anywhere" comment; On there product page it says this:
Walkie Talkie Function, Push to Talk Anytime, Anywhere V9800 has a programmable side button to use the walkie talkie function. It gives you safe, reliable and convenient communication.
Please explain why the blackview website shows it has a walkie talkie function when in reality it you say it doesn't? The walkie talkie function is one of the reasons I was going to get this so I could use it when I was out of coverage.
