How can I get root access on a BV9800 Pro phone?
I understand about removing the phone from the warranty and do not claim after gaining root access to the warranty. But many programs do not work for me without root access, and I really need them.

We can not help you to get the root on the phone.

Hi,
you can root it with Magisk :
Download your rom from : viewtopic.php?f=285&t=532354 (you can alternatively extract it with SP Flash Tool and WWR)
Download and install Magisk Manager on your phone : https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/rel ... v7.5.0.apk
Patch the boot image with Magisk Manager
Unlock the bootloader. (Wipe the phone! )
Flash the patched boot image with SP Flash Tool or Fastboot. (ONLY the boot image)
Reinstall Magisk Manager

How do I know if I have EEA Version for ROM download or the non-EEA version?

I can't find a USB driver for this bv9800pro. What USB driver did you use?

Check you build number in "About the phone"

You don't need to update, your phone was shipped on this version. You only need this file to get the boot image and the scatter file.
There is a LOT of tutorial all over the Internet for each step. You can also use viewtopic.php?f=247&t=476742 for reference.
