Hi.
I'm very sorry that this phone has such a issue.
I think you'd better contact the seller or our professional after-sales directly.
After-sales email:
support02@blackview.hkHave a nice day!

In the telephony App, try to dial *#87# and go to "Distance Calibration". This should recalibrate your proximity Sensor.

Recently I also received my BV9800 Pro phone, for the first days I was busy with settings and did not use it for calls, everything was fine, but as soon as I inserted the SIM card and received the first incoming call, I caught a glitch, namely: when the call comes in, the screen goes blank and it’s even impossible to answer the call and with outgoing, as soon as you dial the number, the screen also goes off immediately.
If someone also runs into this glitch, then here is the solution:
1. You need to go into the engineering menu, for this I used the program "MTK Engineering Mode Start" and in it click MTK Settings.
2. Next, go to the menu Hardware Testing -> Sensor -> Proximity Sensor -> PS Calibration -> Calibration
3. Next, you need to calibrate the proximity sensor, physically it is in the middle between the front camera and the battery charge icon.
4. First, put the phone on a horizontal surface and do not close the sensor with anything, press the button "Calculate MIN value"
5. Next, we close the sensor (I pressed my finger to the glass until the PS value became equal to 4095), press the button "Calculate MAX value"
6. And the last click on the "Do calibration" button, wait for some time and the inscription "Result: PASS" should appear below
After that, I did not observe any glitches with the screen off.
