You can switch to any launcher you want.
I like Launcher Oreo 8.1 simple, free and fairly customizable.

I never used a louncher.
The Stock louncher can not so this ?

The Oreo louncher generates a new Screen with more Icons but If i Push the Home-Button the homescreen is still only four buttons.
And i can't go back to the Others Screen.
