Focus problem for camera video

Fri Sep 27, 2019 12:32 pm

The BV9500 Plus is a good phone (better than my previous BV6000) but i have since the beginning a problem with the video camera focus.
The same behaviour was related for the BV9500 Pro without real solution (saying "make a factory reset" is not a solution)
viewtopic.php?t=501298
The problem is the same with any other camera apps.
Edit : seems better with Manual Camera from PS (at least for me)
Could other users confirm the unstable behaviour of the video camera focus ?
Thanks you

To solve your issue faster, can you send me a picture of the video camera focus? we can analyze your issue exactly.

Yes of course.
I've made a short video showing the defects (small quick zoom jump when focused with a not normal small sound)
LInk for download :

In fact, seems that the focus is OK for camera pictures but not enough progressive for video camera but it's just my feeling !
I hope just a quick fix now …

Admin,
Please, read the topic again carefully…
You don't answer to my question about camera video focus !
This is the same problem i've found also in BV9500 forum (see video)
viewtopic.php?f=273&p=847544#p847544
I confirm that it is a not normal behaviour that need absolutly a fix !

This is a software problem, so I advise you to flash the ROM

Admin,

Flashing the ROM or make a factory reset have never solved this particular problem.
This issue has been already related many times for BV9500, BV9500 Pro and BV9500 Plus ...
Seems that the stock camera works bad generaly for BV9500 (all models)
-> The video focus use the picture focus behaviour, so it can't works well ! The video focus have to be specific and more progressive than a simple picture focus !

For me, currently, i've fixed the problem with an external app "Manual Camera" but maybe some others apps could do the job !
In all cases, if Blackview team works seriously for a better integration of the stock camera in this phone, it should be great for many users.
Thanks

New OTA update today, and unfortunately the camera focus problem (video) is not fixed …
So, i continue using an external camera app for workaround this problem but it's not really normal for an as important feature of a rugged phone.
