I do not understand. What should I do? I don't want to ruin my cellphone. I'm a normal user, not a programmer. # Otherwise: The ZIP file cannot be updated normally, the BV9500 will reboot without the update effect. Why is it so complicated?

Thanks for your reply.
First of all, for BV9500, the last firmware available is from 2019051717, can we expect soon a newer one?
Then concerning the procedure:
For the BV6000 with "SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1716_Win" the procedure was to select "DOWNLOAD ONLY" and then there was the option to
uncheck userdata in order to keep them and that the flashing doesn't overwrite them.
Where is such option for BV9500 with "SP_MDT_exe_v3.1836.00.01-A2018.11.06-v1.0-custom"
https://mega.nz/#!Xb4GxICK!Ft18_QZHzlOV ... -Y9MhhUdd0 ? In the video for BV9700 Pro you indicated above, we can see at the very end that there is a DL(userdata) OK so I understand this overwrites the userdata so it is then needed to reinstall everything on the phone, which is obviously a long and annoying task...
Any solution to bypass this problem?

Hi.
Sorry, There is not newer one of BV9500 firmware.
The last two issues I really don’t understand. My former colleague in charge of the forum has left.

So I think you'd better contact our professional after-sales directly.
After-sales email:
support02@blackview.hkYou can post the solutions in this post if you get the results.

No news from support.
However, you can proceed as follow:
1- Download latest SP Flash Tool from
https://androidmtk.com/smart-phone-flash-tool2- Select the Scatter file which is inside your ROM folder
3- Select DOWNLOAD ONLY and untick USERDATA if you don't want to overwrite them
4- Click on DOWNLOAD
5- Enable USB Debug mode on your phone
6- Turn OFF your phone
7- Connect your phone to the PC through USB
8- Once the process is finished successfully (green tick), unplug your phone and restart it, voilà, your phone is now updated!
Successfully tested with ROM 2019051717_s32v63c2k_jk for BV9500 with SP Flash Tool v5.1944 on Win10 1909

Updated by using the ota file. but they didn't fix the multi touch & touch stuttering that people was talking about over and over , and they was saying (tracked a fix will came).... You are guys not professional .. the programming crew needed to be replaced
Or these is on the company itself
Next time dont give promises about it ok
