On the Admin ROM post here, The 2019 ROM link is dead, the 2018 link works.   Was there a problem with the 2019 ROM?

I can understand Blackview NOT updating the BV9500 ROM, its an old phone, but there IS a ROM available from AOSP (Android Open Source Project) ....

These ROMs (for many many phones) apparently are more google vanilla type (not BV type).   
Update ROM with extreme caution, preferably NOT on your daily phone (or have backup phone ready).
BTW, its not obvious how to get into (stock) Recovery on BV9500.  Keep Vol-UP & Power pressed until initial Blackview name appears.  Then release buttons.  "robot" icon with words "no command" appears.  Press (& keep pressed) Power button, tap Vol-UP button.  Stock Recovery appears.  Fastboot is one of Recovery menu options.
Vol-Down + Power gets Factory Menu.  Not useful.

I have found a 2019 Stock ROM somewhere (can't remember from dozens of sites I've visited).  I have not tried it, but it seems to match the filenames used in this thread...
