Unstable smartwatch bluetooth connection

I am using a Garming Fenix 5 plus as a smart watch and used it for a long time with my previous phone with great results. Now that i am swiched from my original phone to the BV9600 there is a lot of communication/connection losses between the phone and my watch. This results in making my smartwatch just a normal watch again and i am not receiving any notification on my watch. I disabled all the power saving and standby options.

How can i solve this?

Hi, we rarely meet users with a Garming watch, we need to analyze your issue separately.
can you send me an email? support02@blackview.hk

There are a couple of things that need to be done to make it work:
(1) switch off battery optimization for the app. Apps & notifications -> Advanced -> Special app access -> Battery optimization -> (click arrow next to "Not optimized" and select"All apps" instead -> find your app, click on it and select "Don't optimize"
(2) Add your app to the white list of Auto clean. On the home screen, click on recent button -> click on the tool icon (bottom left) -> either switch off Auto clean altogether, or find your app and click on the padlock icon to lock it
(3) Add your app to DuraSpeed. In System settings -> DuraSpeed -> Switch DuraSpeed on -> find your app and switch it on

For some apps, all the steps are needed.

Thank you Frofa,

These steps helped a lot. The connection looks stable at this point. I think the most important option was the DuraSpeed setting. Do youknow if this is a BlackView specific menu/setting or an standard Android feature? I think it was nog available on my previous Samsung.

With kind regards!
