0. Download ADB and install drivers on your Windows computer
1. Unlock the bootloader
2. Flash TWRP
3. Install Magisk

Works perfectly well on my BV9600.

Where can we find TWRP build for Blackview phones? twrp.me website does not contain it.

download TWRP for BV9600pro, which also works for the BV9600EEA (not "pro"), from here: https://download900.mediafire.com/js0hqv9axn1g/2p2ek019reu7ek6/Blackview+BV9600+Pro+twrp.rar
Flash it, then immediately boot into it (otherwise TWRP will be automatically overwritten), and flash Magisk. Then, your phone is rooted. Like most available TWRPs, this one has a problem with encryption in Android 9, so you can boot into it once and use it. Later it will require a "password", but won't accept your correct password for decryption - that's a bug in TWRP. There are some newer versions for other phones, but not yet for the BV9600, unfortunately. But it gets the job of rooting done, that's the important point!
