Disable fingerprint touch function?

Wed Aug 14, 2019 6:34 am

Is there any way to disable the fingerprint scanner being used as a button? I have an issue with constantly having the touch function activate while holding my phone and it is extremely annoying. Currently in the touch function list there are these options for the click, double click and long press:

Close
Back to the previous menu
Back to the desktop
Enter the recent task list
Take photo/video
Screen capture

Why is there no option for no operate like the shortcut button? If there is a way to do this can someone please help me? I really enjoy this phone aside from that button.

Hello,
I have set all to "Close" and the fingerprint sensor works as a fingerprint sensor only.

Cheers,

If I select "close", the function is deactivated for me.

Sigro your idea worked once I selected close for all 3 functions. Thank you for the idea and advice.
