Slow wireless charging

Fri Aug 09, 2019 6:54 pm

Is there something I have to do to get this phone to charge quickly wirelessly? It's way too slow, only getting a couple of percent charge in an hour or so. I am using Blackview's wireless charging pad and another 10W charging stand. All of these wireless chargers had no trouble charging the BV9600 Pro quickly.

The same issue happens with BV9700pro, using the blackview wireless charger it shows a total charge estimate time bof 3.5 hours with a max Amp. Of .870 and a voltage of around 3, I believe it has something to do with the wireless pad.

It is true that wireless charging is slow, some energy get lost in wireless contact, so the phone will be heat when using wireless charging.

Yes, I've noticed that too. Sometimes it charges quickly, but most of the time very slow.

The wireless power standard (Qi), coil alignment, distance, and the USB power source are the determining factors.
You have control of the alignment and power source, both of which are critical.  Perhaps someone can tell us which USB power standard the Blackview charging pad utilizes,  [For example QC3.]

hello,
Same problem for me tonight. The LED of the wireless charger blinked red and I noticed that the charge had only gone from 20% to 85% in 8 hours. Then I put it back and in one hour it went from 85% to 100%. Astonishing.

EDIT Today:   Charging stopped at 98%, wireless charger diode flashed

I have no problem with wireless charging so far. From 25 % to 100 % in about 3,5 hours. Perhaps the Blackview charging pad is the problem and not the phone? I use a 10 W Anker charging stand together with an Ugreen 36 W QuickCharge 3.0 power supply. The phone states "Charging fast". It also doesn't get very warm. It gets 10 times warmer after 10 minutes in the sunlight.

Today I tested wireless charging from 0 % to 100 % - took 5 hours. I think that's a good result.

I have 6 wireless charging pads scattered throughout my home. Some Blackview, some not.  Wireless charging is so so slow on all of them, I've given up on wireless charging and just use the USB-C cable.
