[TRACKED] Bv6800 pro camera unfocus

Sun Nov 18, 2018 2:28 pm

Hi,
I have started using the Bv6800 pro, all good except for the camera. The camera seems to have a focus problem, the pictures are blurry. Same when filming a video. Do you have some form of download to fix the problem?
Thanks.

I suggest you to use the Opencamera App, it will get definitely better.

Same problem. Cameras shoot bad photos. Better on BV7000 Pro.

Thanks for your help but the open app doesnt make any difference.
Here is how the problem works: let's say, as an example, I want to take a picture of a car and behind the car there is a wall. I will turn the camera on and aim at the car. The focus is fine, the car is cristal clear. But if I then aim at the wall, the camera will go out of focus and the wall will be blurry. If I then aim back to the car, the camera will still be out of focus and the car will also be blurry.
I will try to send some example pics, I haven't been successfull so far.

To reply to another post: no the phone or camera didn't get wet. It's brand new, sitting in my office, I haven't even put a sim card in it yet.

I have read that on some other blackviews there had been focus problems and it was solved with an update. Could this be the problem with mine?
I need the camera for my work, it it's not working correctly I won't be able to use the phone.

Any ideas are more than welcome.
Thanks

Here at two pics, one is when I turned the camera on, picture is fine. The other picture, is when I aimed at something else and came back to my first position, picture is blurry. I didn't change my position, or lights, exposition etc, I only moved my arm from left to right.

What about tapping on the display the thing you want to focus on? Does this work?

Auto-focus works erratically for me too. When it works, it's works great but if I lock/unlock the phone it stop working again. It's most likely a software problem.

Other question : how do you access the second back camera ?

No, when autofocus get stuck and stop working, tapping on the display is useless.
You have to force stop off the camera (i.e. deep cleaning by closing background app) and restart it.
