Hi all,
Cant find the thread that was discussing this some time ago but this is still an issue for me and really causing issues for work if I forget to manually start xMatters after every re-boot, as I miss important work alerts.
Facebook and messenger seem OK now since the last update some time ago but all the below still don't auto start, and I have added them all to the white list and tried with Duraspeed both on and off but still no success -
Life360
AusPost
Kapersky Internet Security
Meetup
Spotify
VicEmergency
xMatters
These all auto started on my last blackview phone.
Anyone else having these issues or know how to fix it??
Mick.

This issue remains a nightmare. I have the p60 , with all its updates, they solved nothing, so I upgraded to Android 9, that also changed nothing in relation to this problem.
The apps that don't start or even sometimes continue running in the background for me are:
Hikvision Hik-connect
Accu weather
Accu battery
Bluemail (mostly works now)
Wearheart
orange messagerie vocale visuelle
Get rid of all these over complicated permission management. Let apps do what they are designed for. You have turned Android into Windows.
Regards,
Tom.

I cleared disabled all the boot options in the BIOS because I wanted to manually select which drive to boot to. Bad decision.
Immediately afterwards, the laptop does not boot.
I press the power button, the power and CAPS button light up, the CAPS light turns off after a few seconds, and then the power button remains lighted. Completely black screen. The CPU heatsink gets warm. Heatsink fan spins once it gets hot enough. CMOS battery voltage is fine.
Tried:
Leaving the laptop "on" for 8 hours.External monitor.Holding power button for 60 seconds while plugged in.
Holding power button for 60 seconds while unplugged.
Disconnecting the CMOS and main batteries 7 days.
Disconnecting the main battery and turning on the laptop directly from power.
Holding F2 for a very long time.Taking out network card and both m.2 drives.
The heck...
Did I just brick my laptop due to ASUS's bad BIOS code??

Yes still having issues, but as they never publish anyone's posts you won't get far here.

I have this problem too. I'm disappointed with this phone.
In addition, I have a problem with the three buttons, the sound of notifications, the compass, and the one-handed mode. It seems to me that this is not pure android 9.

I am also suffering this massive problem. But also finding that certain apps don't run properly in the background even with all battery saving switched off. For example my hikvision security app seems to get killed and then doesn't give notifications of intrusion... Rather important! It worked perfectly on my Samsung and my AGM before.
I don't know why you have asked about version because I have had this phone from new and the problem has been the same on every version including the hacked Android 9 that I am currently running. None of these updates made any difference.
Would you be prepared to exchange my phone for one that does allow apps to run properly?
Thank you,
Tom.
