Re: Upgrade to Android 9.0 for P60 version

I'm running this build number bv9600Pro_EEA_s700_v1.0_20190530v8
Is there a more up to date version?

tommo, to make sure you keep apps running in the background, 3 things must be done. make sure the app is not battery optimized, it is in the white list of recent apps, and that durespeed is on with the relevant app toggled.

best solution for me is android 8.1 and apks autostart enabled in system freemanager. I tried android 9, btw it is better than android 8.1, but I needed working system.

Hi Tigercat, thanks for your reply. I actually gave up and have been using my wife's old LG G6, which just works!!

But I'd still really like to get this thing fully functioning for the first time in it's life.

Did you get to that through the PDA4U site and google translate?! I did, and it is indeed what I am using. I'm not convinced it is working perfectly, that is why I have put the phone aside a bit. when in 'apps' and I click on bluemail for example I see the processes specified as 'sandboxed' which is a good thing, but when looking at hik-connect I dont see that. And that is the app that is vital to me.

I too have been to 9 and come back! I would be happy with android 4.4 when there was no app cleaning, and no permissions, and everything just worked!

Let us know how it is going for you. Even Blackview could benefit in order to improve their phones going forward - they are getting the same complaints on their latest handsets because they don't seem to have ever bothered fixing the problem!
