GBV9600 Pro wifi & bluetooth not working after installing stock firmware

Thu Mar 19, 2020 12:21 am

Hello,

is there a difference between GBV9600 Pro and GBV9600 Pro?

I was messing with the firmware, because apparently the firmware is configured to not allow autostart apps, which makes widgets unusable, so I was trying to solve that. I then went back to "stock" one (BV9600Pro_EEA_S700_V1.0_20190530V8) that's linked here in forums and now I'm stuck.

The bluetooth application keeps crashing every second in a loop with a popup and on top of that, I'm unable to turn wifi on. This is after a factory reset. The phone is unusable now.

What can I do to fix it?

Ok nevermind.

I have started from scratch.

  • used flashtool to reinstall everything including preloader
  • used twrp to install imagisk
  • used adb to uninstall Factory mode app to get rid of "tee key, google key"
  • used sn write tool to fix IMEI
  • used total commander under root to edit build.prop
  • installed my apps and widgets
  • disabled battery optimization for selected apps
Now everything is working and I'm finally happy with the phone.

Zaxik. Did I understand you correctly? Have you solved the problem of apps not automatically starting and running correctly in background?

This would change my world!!

Seriously if you have really managed to turn this lump of plastic into a proper smartphone then, well Blackview should offer you a job, but more importantly to me, can you tell us how? And I mean for people who aren't pro?

I am currently waiting for a new backside (for the phone) as I have no external sound, if I can fix that and get apps to actually run then I can stop searching aliexpress for a super expensive replacement!

Please please get back to me and us, this sounds monumental.
