strange youtube version and Picture In Picture issues

hello, i noticed that the youtube version (native to the mobile phone (it's looks like at least)) is a bit different than the "standart" version, in particular a little cross on the right of the loading bar that you have to touche to see the vidéo without the interface (and also the little arrows to forward and backward are present to (unlike the "standart" version) so i would like to know if it's normal for an oreo 8.1 android or if you will do something about it or if i'm the only one to complain about it
and about the PIP it doesn't work to me on youtube (neither the app nor the website on chrome (but on PHub it works
) and the netflix application works too
