Download update manually

Pretty tired off this...
I'm still on the 201808 update, at one time quite a while ago I got an update... then I had to reflash stock and since then it's been back on 201808.
The wireless updates always says I'm on the latest...
I've done multiple factory reset - still it says latest
I've removed sims/cars - still it says latest
I've got the phone set to english since forever - still it say latest
It's on wifi 24/7 - still it say latest
Being on the old firmware sucks, it eats battery, charges slowly, etc etc
Is there anyway to download it manually? As I'm pretty confident I will not get it OTA, phone's been factory reseted for weeks now just waiting for the update to no avail....
Can someone that got it upload it somewhere or are the any other official ways to get it?
Current firmware is almost a year old now...

Official firmware files for flashing have been requested to the tech team. Such files will be posted in the ROM download forum subsection as soon as they get released.

This has been the default answer for about a year now....
They obviously have the firmware, how many months(years?) does it take to upload it somewhere...
They lose repeat customers...

I know, but you should be patient a little more.

Has anybody looked to see if any of the other BV phones have their ROMs posted publicly on the BV forum? I seriously do not expect the company to publicly post, where all can see, a method by which the users can bypass adups spyware and still get regular updates.
Just my two cents. But, I mean, what do I know?
I'm not holding my breath for BV to publish ROM links here.

I don't need an official update, just someone who got the update, copied it from their system before installing it, and shared it here.
Has the official one won't happen anytime soon, if ever.
Still on first firmware after a factory reset even though I got an update months ago which now never shows up again...
Went an bought a Oneplus instead, so now I got a heavy door stopper with an old firmware .....

Get the 20180929 firmware from Russian 4pda forums and flash it using adb. Updates came rolling in after I updated it this way.
