BV9500 reboots over and over

Sat Apr 27, 2019 9:44 pm

 Hi,
I have a new Blackview BV9500 8.1 OREO purchased from the official store about a month ago.
It worked fine until it blocked. I restarted but it kept rebooting over and over with NO accesso to system.
It displays Blackview logo and then reboots. Over and over.
I tried a wipe data cache and factory reset with no luck.
Did anyone fix this issue?
Please help me. I can't access my phone.
Regards

Vincenzo

Hi there!
Unfortunately your phone looks highly damaged. You'll have to contact your seller to have it replaced under warranty. Nothing more to do, i'm sorry.

If you get the Blackview logo then you have a bootloader. If you're brave and capable, you could load a factory ROM image directly onto the device through SPTools. However, it's not the most straightforward process, especially for most everyday end users. If you've never flashed a firmware before, it would be extremely easy to permanently brick the device so the safest bet is to return it under warranty as Admin suggests. But, if everything I've written here makes perfect sense to you..............

No official Rom files for flashing have been released so far, although i explicitly made a request for them. The opening post user has got no other choice except contacting his seller, unfortunately.

My apologies, I thought I saw some links provided before.

I did receive two responses to a support request from one of the support staff at Blackview through the support page, though, perhaps they will be of use.  It's older than current, but I used it early on and still was able to receive OTAs afterward so I trust it's as official as one can get without it being posted right on the main homepage.

Of course, they're the same link.  If memory serves, they're the August 2018 revision, and they're for the PRO, not the non-pro.  They're in RAR format, and whoever uses them will need to know what they're doing (and with that I can't help as I've only done it successfully once and it was nearly six months ago).  Hopefully these are useful.
