No Command

Fri Apr 05, 2019 6:32 am

Is there a way to get around / force reset of a phone stuck at No Command?
The power + volume up is not working.

Anyway using adb or similar?

Model is: BV9500 Pro Stock Rom

If the power+volumeup is to get into recovery, then was it per+volumedown to get into bootloader? I think but I don't remember. Anyway, if it was recovery you were trying to get into, and that doesn't work, the only other option you have is bootloader. Then, you'll need "SP Flash Tool" and a copy of the official ROM so you can manually write the system to the phone. I'm sorry I don't have the links for either but I've seen them posted in these forums.

I don't know if manually flashing your ROM voids warranty, though, but it could save you the trip months round trip of the phone going back to the seller for repair/replacement.

Everything goes to "No command",  there's no recovery menu or bootloader menu.

Vol up and Vol down both results in "No command".

I don't care about warranty, I'll open the phone if necessary if there's some hard reset that can be done.

If even bootloader doesn't work then I think it's toast. It seems it's like the old DOS PCs that didn't have hard drives, when you turned them on without a boot floppy, they had a specific error they would display. Similar to "OS NOT FOUND" or some such error.

Basically your phone either has no Android on it or, more likely, storage is fried and can't be read.

Sorry to read it. May not be worried about warranty but it looks like it may be about to come in pretty handy.

Good luck!

Yeah probably :/

Issue is this...

Phone is rugged and hard to break... . exceeeept the glass covering the camera, that seems to be easily cracked.
My glass cracked, ordered replacement glass,
didn't get any adhesive with it so used what was remaining of the previous leftover adhesive = probably not 100% sealed = moisture got into it.

This probably shorted something and messed up the bootloader :/
as phone was operational before reboot

Guess it's time to order a new one unless someone else got any suggestions

Well, you've already probably voided the warranty with the self repair. Maybe you can order just the electronic innards and replacement glass (with adhesive) for less than a new phone. It's not a difficult repair.

Progress...

I'm able to connect to it using sp flash tool.

Will try to reflash everything, but I'm missing the scatter file for this model.

Anyone have it? or are able to dump it?  Would be highly appreciated.

Make a copy of the rom and rename it with a .zip extension. Open that, and the scatter file should be within.
