Just wondering, what are the plans regarding firmware releases for Android 9 (Pie) and Android 10 (Q)? It seems as if it shouldn't be too difficult due to the OS and the manufacturer firmware having been separated, so it would be nice to know when the expected release date is.

I realise Android Q is still in beta, but Google has released a manual update that can be used on any phones running Android 9, so an update to version 9 in the next few months would be nice.

I am happy to wait though if Blackview intends to jump straight to Android Q when it's released, though.

No updates to Android 9 or 10 have been planned so far. Tech team's priority is to fix bugs and issues with the current Android version.

Well, it's been over a year, and Android 11 is due for public release, but we still haven't gotten android 9 or 10. Clearly Blackview doesn't care about their customers past selling the original items. Android needs to be updated to version 10 at a minimum to ensure safety and anti-malware security. Will we ever see it on the BV9500? I'm starting to doubt it. My next phone may very well end up being a different brand.

You say your team's priority is fixing bugs, but there hasn't been an update since February 2019, and there are still plenty of bugs. I can't even use android's stock camera!
