PIN stopped working. How to reset with fingerprint-unlock?

Suddenly my BV9500 doesn't accept my unlock-PIN any more. I'm very sure that I didn't forget or change it.
I can still unlock normally with the fingerprint. But in order to reset my PIN I need to know it... is there a way to reset the PIN, without erasing the whole phone?
Fingerprint is the only other security-unlock-feature I activated. I did not install the new update, but are still on BV_BV9500_V1.0_20181026. Phone is not rooted.
Did anybody else's phone forgot the PIN?
