Hi all,
writing this because my bv9500 pro has the security patch out of date (July 5th 2018), and if i check for updates it says is up to date (but we all know that last Oreo security patch was issued on January) - the problem didn't solved after factory reset

On the same way i cannot get OTA update to the last version.

I have the phone from more than one month, and already performed a factory reset (and removed SD Card) trying to force the updates, but nothing changed, is this normal? (i need the firmware update as i use this as an outdoor phone for hiking and some issues like compass and pressure sensor are very bad for this context.

This is normal.

As stated many times in many threads, OTA updates don't reach every user at the same time. Performing a factory reset and being a lot of time under a wifi network may help. For the moment there's nothing more that can be done except waiting.

Security patches don't get implemented by Blackview as soon as Google releases them, as it takes a lot of time to do it in a correct and bug-free way.
