Headphones/headset issue (9500Pro)

I noticed that when I plugging-in ordinary headphones (without a microphone) into the 3.5 mm jack the system shows me the "full headset" icon (as if I plugged-in headphones with mic) and disables the front phone mic (headphones work well). I tried a lot of various headphones, but the issue persists. Full headsets seem to work well (both headphones and a microphone). So it's kinda minor problem, but still sometimes it could bring inconveniences. My BV6000 can distinguish headphones from headset. My firmware is BV_BV9500Pro_V1.0_20180827_20180904-1729 (cannot update). I think that it's a hardware issue though. I hope that this little report will be passed to developers to fix this issue in future, thanks.

Hello! My BV9500 Pro shows the same symptoms when plugging stereo headphones. The "full headset" icon shows up.

After testings, I confirm I have exactly the same issue !

Same Problem, i noticed also when the phone is conneced to a external speaker and volume is set to max. the music stops playing because headphone jack is not detected for a short time. Maybe the phone is detecting the impedance of the external amplifire is too high, if i lower the volume its fine.

i can confirm that the phone stops outputting/ pauses music if connected with headphone jack, if the output volume is too high. lowering volume does stop problem

Can you try the app Soundabout to set front phone mic as default or to reactivate it? Please check and report back ;)
