[FEATURE REQUEST] Intercom App Additions

Tue Jan 15, 2019 5:05 am

Hello,
I purchased the phone to use the UHF radio built in but it is lacking some features that would be nice to have & add functionality to the phone.

One would be to add the ability for "tones" when editing a channel. This is used for repeaters. I have been unable to get a repeater to work on the app due to this.

The other would be to add a digital Morse Code ability. Set it up so you can type a message & tap send, then it sends out as a Morse Code. Then, have a setting to translate the Morse code when it is received. This would be extremely helpful in man situations.

Hello. The option for editing tones is present actually. When editing an analog channel, in the part where you see RecvsubAudio you must select CTCSS instead of the Wave option (the same applies for SendsubAudio). Once you have the CTCSS option selected then you will be able to select your desired subtones.
I'm attaching a chart of subtone frequencies.
Good luck!

Okay, great! I did see that it had that option but the numbers made no sense. With this chart, it does now. Thanks!!

That list is not correct.....
Use the link below and use the 50 new Yaesu codes.

Just a suggestion is to display the Tone Freq. (Hz) "88.5Hz"  In stead of the numbers then it will be very clear as to which tone code is being used ;)

Yes, this would make it much easier.
