Recent update causing problems with apps staying on

I'm wondering if yesterdays (7th Oct 2018) update is causing anyone else any problems.
Since yesterdays update my ESET NOD32 mobile security keeps being disabled. I've reinstalled it but it still happens.
Edit: It's also disabled googles automatic voice recognition.....
Anyone have any ideas?

I think I've fixed this.
Settings>Smart Assistant>Power Save Manager & add whatever you don't want disabled automatically to the white list.
Seems to work so far..........

Please perform a factory reset after each update to avoid weird issues like that.

I hear you but I'd just like to say that it's a bit of a pita to restore everything after a factory reset

I know, but it is the only way to avoid strange issues like the one in the opening post.
