There seems to be a new wireless update for the BV9500: BV_BV9500_V1.0_20181026_20181026-1924. I've downloaded it 5 times now and every time it tries to update it fails with: "Unzipping the package file please do not interrupt: Installation Failed: Package error. Please check update and download again." Any idea on how I can get the update to install?  Can I download it manually from somewhere? Thanks.

Please perform a factory reset and try again. This solved such issue many times.

Where should i download it from?  I had checked with my phone wireless OTA and it says there are no new updates???

It is now installed after I bricked my phone trying to root it so I could modify an APN, which are all grayed out and unchangeable. So I flashed the stock ROM, brought it back to life, and the OTA update went through without problems this time.

It popped up automatically for me about 4 days ago when I connected to a wifi network.

It's possible to download somewhere latest OTA file, put it to my BV9500 Pro and flash ?

not for the moment.

As I noted in the slow charging thread, I still haven't gotten the OTA update, even after factory reset. It's been more than 2 weeks now.

As stated many times, you'll have to wait for that.

Ok, I have no burning issues, the wireless charger works just fine, but almost a month for an OTA update that others already have gotten? I've heard of staggered updates; I've implemented them myself, but I can't help but feel this is a tad ridiculous.

My experience with Blackview is good, I know the update will come, but this is definitely an idiosyncrasy one has to live with when using BV products.
