i have a problem with the BV9500, when i go outdoor to other state with no 4G coverage the phone automatic change to 3G band and i can't receive any call or data from 3G band , i have to manually go to network menu and change the prefer band to 3G to enable to receive call and data .Same when i get back home the phone still stuck with 3G band and i have to manually change it to 4G to receive call and data.In the network menu there is no selection for automatic select ,only 4G ,3G and 2G and i have to force to select only one of them, please fixed the problem, other than that the BV9500 is a good phone everything work perfectly.

"This will be fixed with an update, but no ETA at the moment." - admin

I just wanted to flag the issue in the 9500 forum, and add the following comment from a customer:

...the nitty gritty stuff is the main function of the phone be it smart or not where this one kicked the bucket: to be a phone - to call and receive calls.
First I noticed in places where Apple&Samsung were steadily maintaining 4G  this one was showing me 3G only and continuously oscillating between 3G and 4G.
Which is bad but maybe not so annoying.
The other day I was in a shop at the counter and realised that I do not have enough money on my card. Usually I was jumping on my mobile app and I was transferring money instantly. But this time Black view let me down.
So this was a bad one.
But lately I started to have other issues and this time the Missus panicked not knowing what's happened to me and I was totally oblivious as I haven't heard the phone ringing.
And it happened on Saturday and today(Monday) as well.
So when she was ringing me it was going straight to the voicemail. Same when she was ringing from WhatsApp.
I looked at my phone and clearly was saying that I am connected to Vodafone (and I also have mobile data activated).
Furthermore I tried to send a quick email and it was saying that I am not connected to the internet. Checked mobile data...it was OK.
So then I restarted the phone. After it has done it a Sim Processor error was shown shortly on the screen and all lost calls and messages started to load.
So long story, short what's the fix for this?"

Can admin please confirm tech team are working on a fix for 4G/3G error?

We need this tracked and fixed urgently please Admin...more customers reporting signal switching errors:

"I have had signal drop so much lately I’m, either going to airplane mode and off again or switching the phone off and on about 10 -15 x a day. Any ideas?"

Another customer complaint on this fault: "The phone just goes into a state where it does not receive calls and people can't ring me. Service doesn't come back until I restart the phone"

Exactly the same problem 4g switching sometimes in 3g in France with my bv9500. When it's occured, people can't call me, internet isn't available... To solve the connection problems, I'm forced to restart phone to try to get 4g...

Many customers report the problem disappears if TWO sims are loaded in the phone, so it seems that a single sim config is allowing cell to go to sleep, whereas the dual standby programming is allowing sims to stay live.

Perhaps an old inactive Sim in the second slot could be a workaround while waiting for an update?

Update: no chance, same problem with two sim cards.
Update: It seems to be better not selecting : voice 4g hd
Update: YES ! 24 h without any problem, perhaps a good workaround.

I've just experience that as well. The phone didn't like going down in the London underground and coming back up. Stuck on 3G till I rebooted it. No-one could contact me all day!

Thanks for your feedback guys, this looks like a decent workaround while waiting for a fix at ROM level.

I'm having the same 4g issue and it's really frustrating. Can't wait for an upgrade
