Hi, I also have microphone issues. I read on a French forum that Chinese bandwidth is different from Western countries, and that switching from the 300-3400 Hz Chinese to the 50-7000 Hz AMR Western wideband fixes the problem for most Chinese phones.

This can be done on rooted phones by using the "pimp my rom" app, sadly I don't know how to do it without root, and I am too scared to mess up my phone by trying to root it... But maybe this info can give a clue to the devs

I know you do your best Admin but can you please inform Blackview Tech that this issue needs to be FIXED this week please...it has been months and customers are now sending phones back.

There're lots of problems for this phone already. So I think i'm done with the brand that are not global brand already. b'coz I realize that after sale service should be considered as a primary reason to buy things.

I'm also affected by the horrible quality when trying to use the phone without headset connected.

In my case it's so bad that no-one can hear me, speaker mode or not.

With wired or bluetooth headset the audio is fine.

I hope a update comes fast, as this is a crucial thing for a Mobile Phone.

My phone is a BlackView 9500 FHD+ bought directly from the BlackView Store.

Fixes are on the way, but not for this week unfortunately :(

I am sorry to say this but it is an absolute disgrace that you're taking this long to fix the most basic function of your mobile phone.
For more then three month now, everyday someone's tells me they can't understand me, i regret putting my trust into your company and your product.

Sadly it's quite the hustle to send the phone back ...otherwise I would have done it months ago.

By now you definitely lost me as a future customer and obviously lots of others as no one will ever recommend your products with this kind of quality and problem solving.

POSSIBLE SOLUTION:

Can others please try this and report back on how well it works?

Go to Phone Dialer, three dots at top right, tap on Settings/Accessibility and turn OFF Noise Reduction
