Hi, I have just tried another time and the update complete succesfully without any factory reset.

Update also successfully installed on BV9500 without any hassle

Ok, now I'm really starting to get pissed.. Got My BV9500 (non Pro) here in Italy from the beginning with the Indigogo campaign; when I heard there were updates, I went checking for OTA updates, but nothing was found. Read admin saying it would eventually come later, so I kept checking every month, nothing yet. Today I decided it was about time to start getting updates for me too, so I tried the factory reset as suggested. Several tries, no SIM, no SD, 100% battery, charger plugged, several tries without applying any settings or backups, it just doesn't find any update!
Tried to download the firmwares as suggested by serg2327, but the flash tool doesn't start downloading it when I plug the phone. Tried all steps here as well, phone off, holding volume up or down with or without power button, Android drivers installed (on Win10 x64), latest FT version, antivirus off, tried both firmware versions posted by serg2327, no response from flashing tool when I connect the phone, it only starts charging.
Now I have to reinstall and configure all of my apps from scratch and it was all for nothing, as I have no chance to update. What else can I try before I give up? Any way to install the firmware from SD card, recovery mode, etc.?

Update: I moved to a different PC with Win7, but not sure this was the solution since it took several unsuccessful tries, but it eventually started flashing the 19/11/18 firmware. After that, tried to get the OTA, but it still finds nothing. I'll now try to flash the 20/03/19 firmware as posted by serg2327.

try this:
1. install vcom driver here
2. turn off ur phone, then plug ur USB C cable
3. press power once (not long press, just once), u will see your windows automatically installing Vcom USB driver, if u succesfully install vcom, u will see preloader USB VCOM (com xx) in device manager
--->if you not see windows installing the driver try to remove "usb driver" in "device manager", then "scan for hardware change", repeat step 3
-->note: this "usb driver" that have problem can be read in device manager as "unknown driver" or "preloader USB VCOM (com xx)" with ! mark 
4.  plug off ur cable, open spflashtool
5. after successfully loaded all file, press download
6. plug ur cable in, then pres power once

better wait for official stock rom released

if u cannt wait, u can try my lastest backup stock rom here (but do with ur own risk, its work on my device (9500 not pro)), please load every partion manually until all partition file loaded

I've been reading this comment for months, but nothing yet and no release window neither. For now, I installed the latest unofficial firmware posted, and I don't think I'll want to wipe out my data again in the near future, so I guess I'll have to give up updates for a while...

Just read the many recent posts written in this thread...

I got notification that update is available yesterday (so some may need more patience). The update was downloaded but couldn't install. The screen with [Update now]/[Update later] buttons was disappearing few seconds after tapping [Update now] and nothing happened. The install package was still downloaded and allowed to try again. I loaded battery to 100% and restarted but this didn't help. I wanted to report the issue and decided to record the phone's behavior. To make it more understandable I switched to English, started recording, tapped the [Update now] and... confirmation pop-up appeared. Then the phone updated successfully to BV_BV9500Pro_V1.0_20190320.

So:

• BV to check why update doesn't work in other languages (at least Polish didn't work)
• Users to switch phones to English before update if had problem like described above.

My router is blocking the Blackview BV6000, BV9000Pro and BV9500Pro OTA Wi-Fi update.
Can you ask the developers the update link (http), in order to put it in my whitelist, to allow the updates.
