I have also this issue with very slow charging. Itried many of different chrgers and cables, but with all of them the charging  do not exeed 400 mA. Some of other owners got charging with 1700 to 2000 mA, using standard BV cable and charger. I tried also to provide factory reset and connected with WiFi I was awaiting the update. But nothing happend. I am very disapointed with this issue. I bought this phone just because of battery and body, not because of Intercom (which PTT button is annoying). And only this one thing do not works...for me.

I received my 9500Pro yesterday. After first setup I factory reset it from the settings menu, but it still does not see the OTA update.

you'll have to be patient. OTA updates don't reach every user in the same time. Please check in the next days and be sure to connect to a wifi network.

I just purchased the bv 9500 pro and have had great difficulty charging it. 
I have gone through all the forums and followed all the suggestions.
I have
 -factory reset twice 
 -brought 2 new cables
 -tried different charging location 
 -tried different charging units 
uninstalled -(force stopped)-intercom digital 
I have also installed 
accubattery  giving me a 
screen off charging time of 2.2%h
192mA average
and
ampere
 at 4000v gives me  a reading of between 60mA and 290ma 
Any ideas people

The people of Blackview are not giving any solution to this problem. It only indicates that the solution will be when the phone is updated via OTA, which is false. It was updated to the latest version and the problem remains.

Solution will come with an update, don't worry.

Yes arrive when my phone is old and i need change it. For me is last blackview phone because have great bug.

I managed to plug into a computer (asus Chromebook ) charger.and got proper charging times
