I also had an error with the install. It's now not showing there is one.

All previous updates downloaded & installed fine.

They didn't even fix the touch problem
You can't use more than 2 fingers
& Stuttering touch

Blackview BV9500 Pro

The OTA does not work for English [CA] either.

I have got my phone out of the boot loop which soft bricked my phone. I used SP_flash_tool with Blackview_BV9500_Pro_MT6763_20180829_8.1.0.zip. The result has restored my phone to a state where the phone charges correctly with the supplied charger and cable even wireless charge.

I had one update back in January, 2019 that came through without having to make any changes to the phone. Unfortunately after that update charging was affected severely.

I see ROMs available on other models of Blackview phones that were released after this model. PLEASE, post the latest ROM for the Blackview BV9500 Pro. There is even a spot already available.

This is truly a good phone. Since the amount of OTA related problems is at this level, give those that have the capability the opportunity to keep our phones current.

I am quite sure that if you give us the tools, the community would even step up for those interested and provide the direction they require.

Its a long long wait as usual. Their timing are always inaccurate. days to weeks, weeks to months.  
Will there be an update for android 9 or just an update from the current version??
Great phones with poor technical support is not helping. I don't even dare to recommend to others.

Now that the latest stock rom has been updated, you can update your phone again width OTA.
We will post the lastest stock rom link a few days later.

Is that what you called a few days?
Are you going to release the update when the phones are too old to use.
You can be accurate by saying 1 year and we can buy another phone in that case

I've downloaded the non ota 1.49 pro version .. and when i tried to install it the phone goes black as usual and 2 minutes later i become the error message and the phone restarts and didn't update yet

I am downloading the ota version now

Note: i was talking about the pro version all the time
