Don't forget to do a factory reset after your upgrade.

Well.... I "think" it's ok know, however, it seems like the "Vol Up" button is not working or is always pressed.

As on each reboot it goes into recovery, and once inside recover I can use "Vol Down" to go down but not "Vol Up" to go up.

And if it's constantly pressed for some reason, that would explain why it goes to recovery each time.

Fortunately a $5 miniature screwdriver set from WalMart includes the T5 but necessary to remove the side panel and maybe see what's holding it down. Possibly a shard of the camera glass worked its way to the area between the physical electrical contact inside the phone and the button membrane that seals the button on the outside, constantly holding the electrical contact closed. Just a thought, but I'm probably wrong LOL

Already tore it to pieces and reassembled, does not seem to be a mechanical issue.

Trying to locate the latest official rom and reflash using that.

F**k yeah :D

Conclusion... water/moisture shorted stuff( bootloader) making it unbootable...   fixable as I could still communicate using sp flash tool and reflash everything.
Stuck in recovery mode, conclusion, due to the water/moisture the connector for Vol/Up/Down got corrosion on it, cleaned that and reassembled.

Working fine again :D
Don't throw stuff in the trash too early....

Congratulations! I know that feeling well... I've fixed quite a bit of stuff a lot of people would have thrown away, but nothing's quite as satisfying as saving several hundred dollars worth of tech with a low cost solution!
