Re: [TRACKED] Camera Focus (BV9500)

My BV9500 has the same issue. In general focus is ok, but when doing videos in bad light it loses the focus all the time => unusable.
A helpful software fix could be a way to lock the focus, because initially it did focus well enough. (I only saw exposure-lock features so far.)

Since the update got rolled out it has been working better, still some oddity from time to time, but not even close to the situation before.

Great! Also remember to perform a factory reset after the update to properly get all the fixes. May i consider this issue as solved?

unfortunately no, it still has noticeable focusing problems, reminding me of P&S cameras of early 2000`s

Ok, a final fix should come with further updates. Don't worry.

I also have a problem with the cameras focus, even with the latest updates. I take photos of lots of forms and service reports on work sites, but can't do so with this phone confidently, as one edge of picture is always slightly blurry- so can't see text well. I hope there is a solution soon as have had to resort to carrying my old "Galaxy 8 Active" around with me to take photos! Besides this, phone is great, love the long life battery

All pictures are blurred, I can´t use camera at all. I have tried to download also open camera app, checked for updates and installed them. Still having problems. Please, help.

Did you perform a factory reset as showed here?

Unfortunately, wiping the cache partition is not enough. Hi highly suggest you to backup your stuff and perform a total factory reset.

Has anyone tried a full factory reset in relation to this issue? If so, could you describe the results? I'm having the same issue (camera struggles to focus and frequently fails, regardless of camera app) but don't have the time to experiment with factory resets unless it's a confirmed fix.

Lack of a functional camera is a major issue and I hope a confirmed fix will be provided soon. Otherwise the phone is outstanding!

A factory reset will rule out if your issue is hardware or software related.
If a factory reset can't solve the issue, the chances of an hardware fault are high.
