I have not had any issues with calls or data but did notice when I am in an active call, the phone goes to 3G. Strange, but hasn't caused me to have any problems using the phone.

Unless your service provider supports VoLTE, the phone will switch to 3G for phone calls. My provider only supports VoLTE (and WiFi calling) on phones purchased from them.

I'm getting a SimProcessor error every time the devices switches from 4G to 3G. The error pops up as "SimProcessor" then triggers a screen lock and all internet sessions and calls gets terminated. This make the phone almost unusable because its switches in a period of seconds sometimes

The phone was working perfectly, but after the 2019-01 update, this started happening. It seems in order to fix the bug described in this thread you broke the phone further for other customers.

BV9500pro from South Africa. Also dit a full factory reset but didn't work. Any chance you can provide a link to the older firmware before the update or fix the issues?

issue has been tracked, tech team is working on it. No ETA, by the way.

Looks like the April 2019 patch fixed the sim processor problem for me. Also the phone is staying on 4G and switching correctly.

Hello, I believe I've wrote a few days ago about this but the comment did not appear here. So, I have the same problem with 4g/3g signal being lost every now and then... and I missed a lot of calls because of it. My phone is bv9500 and had the March 2019 update. Now someone said here that on his bv9500pro the issue was solved by an April 2019 update. So I flashed the pro ROM on my phone (v1.0_20180829) and waiting for the update of April 2019 (but it did not appear yet). I would like to flash it if you can provide a download for it. Otherwise I question if April 2019 update for bv9500pro is the same as March2019 update for the non pro bv9500.

Hi workaround does not work for me. Have tried all resets sims in sims out. Anyone looking at buying a blackview be prepared for a unreliable phone. Last update ota in NZ was January.
