Hi folks, re-posting on this topic because there was no real answer to my previous request.

The 'Intercom' app that controls the UHF radio in the BV-9500 Pro has a transmit timeout of 30 seconds.  At that point the radio stops transmitting but there is no audio indication to the user that this has happened, so if you are holding the set to your ear you don't know it had stopped transmitting.  I am a UK licensed radio ham would like to use the radio for working with my local 70cm (UHF) ham radio repeaters.  It will access and work through them just fine, but the 30 second timeout is way too short for ham radio purposes, by the time you have siad the station identifications you have used up most of the 30 seconds available.  Two requests:  1) please can the app be altered to make the transmit timeout user changeable, personally I would like a two minute timeout to make the radio both useable and practical for ham radio use.  2)  Can and audio indication be fitted to show when the transmit has timed out?  If there was a 'bleep' or something similar the user would know immediately that they have timed out, even when holding it to your ear or using a remote bluetooth headset.
