despite  the settings put in App options(16M(16:9), ZSD on etc...)   the images taken appear very blurred (especially in case of lack of light).
There is some adjustement "out" of the App that I don't know or there is some patch to install to better the final result?

Hi there!

First, please perform a factory reset following this tutorial:

Second, please install the Opencamera App, definitely better than the stock one.

Set it to the native camera resolution, image quality 100%, ISO 100.

I second everything admin said except maybe ISO. ISO 100 will require a well lit shot (read: outdoors in the sun), as you've already stated the camera doesn't work well in the more poorly lit shots (something others among us have complained about as well). I'd leave the ISO at Auto at first and then start working it down until the exposure starts getting too dark, them bring it back up a notch to lighten the exposure to "normal".

But no matter what you do, hardware is hardware, and the camera on this phone is no Canon 7D Mark IV.

I've taken better shots (even though at lower resolution) with a Kodak point and shoot made in 2004, but it had better lenses and a larger sensor, and a dedicated processor for the task.

thanks for the suggestions : when I have to reset the phone this means that I'll lose all the adjustements/bug corrections in the meanwhile done?
... for sure I don't expect to take photos like my Nikon D700 but at least more-or-less as an LG Q6 hopefully  ;)

A factory reset will erase all your apps, photos, settings and so on. Bug corrections and latest firmware will be kept!

Good luck with that. I'm not sure what the Q6 quality is like but my LG G5 has a far superior API, if not hardware, to the BV9500. Being able to manually set focus, ISO, etc. makes A HUGE DIFFERENCE in taking photos and the BV9500 just can't hold a candle to the G5.

I very much appreciate the special mention, and I'm glad my suggestions are useful. I'm just an end user though, not an engineer... So be careful to recognize that what I suggest is just from what I've learned through experience and I can be - and have been, and will again be - wrong.
