I was in contact with the after sales support from Blackview.
The answer to the question about the update was the following

"Really can't be upgraded, this version of OTA is not open in the background."

Why you wrioe here I should be do something like factory reset and some other things when it not be on site?
This kind of discussion doesn`t help.
I have some issues with the phone and I described this in a other thread under the point GPS problems.
I hope the latest firmware will be fix this and some bluetooth points too.

And again please let me know how can I update the phone. Otherwise I must say this phone will the last from Blackview.

To compare to another phone company like BQ from Spain. I had several updates round about every 4-6 months and sometimes some updates of security patches. The phone is older then 2 years. And it was updatet to a newer android release.
The latest security patch is from first March 2019.

This should be the right way for updates and not the discussions like I have to wait.

As stated many times, OTA updates don't reach every user at the same time, so you'll have to..... wait!

These steps may help your phone getting updated:

1) Remove SIMs and MicroSD cards from your phone.

2) Perform a factory reset

3) Set phone language in English

4) Connect to WIFI networks (so disable data connection)

Dear friend, Unfortunately not, no time slot capability at this time.(I tried all : Group contact, person or  all..)
I think the intercom capability is only 12.5khz Bandwith, so It only works without time slot.   Not sure the intercom hardware is designed  for 6.25khz bandwith...... 
For information, I can have QSO  beetween BV9500pro and  MD380 in digital mode !

AAaahhh!!   I must have read this before the edits or read it too fast because I missed the bandwidth thing.....  you're absolutely spot on!   In analog mode, the options are 25 and 12.5 kHz...  It never occured to me the standard requires 6.25 -- so I wonder if this is a hardware limitation or a limitation in the firmward for the DMR.
I'll research the MD380 shortly...  that's good info to have, and will help me understand this device better.  Thank you so much friend!

Hi!
My phone type is a BV9500 (not Pro) phone. 
Though that error message is visible during the refresh again, as at the latest system refresh .
My current firmware version: [font=-apple-system, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, sans-serif]BV_BV9500_V1.0_20190320_20190320-1435[/font]
The new wireless update version: BV_BV9500_V1.0_20190320_20190517-0041
The updating file is downloading successfully, automatical unziping OK.
Rebooting the phone, and the update is starting. But about at 20-25 percents the system updating is stopping and indicating only this failure message : "ERROR" .
I have tried updating after the factory reset, and the phone is starting automatically again, but the refresh is failed.

As always, accurately follow these steps:

1) Remove your SIM.

2) Set your microSD card to be portable storage (not internal storage), then remove it from your phone.

3) Charge your phone at 100% and keep it connected to the power charger.

4) Set your phone language to English.

5) Perform a factory reset from the recovery menu, following this link:

6) Search for the update again, and install it.

No...my phone is in English....and latest May/June update fails....causes an Android eror then self-reboots, with update not installed.

It must again be reiterated: a factory reset should not be necessary before and after each update. Also, (just as with the last update) this is a package error and persists regardless of Sim status. The update doesn't work even if you factory reset a million times.

Hi, 

the Update fails, because it expects the following Release Keys: 
Blackview/BV9500/BV9500:8.1.0/011019/1540552937:user/release-keys or
Blackview/BV9500/BV9500:8.1.0/011019/1553063486:user/release-keys 
but the Phone (NON PRO)
Blackview/BV9500/BV9500:8.1.0/011019/1534229336:user/release-keys 

(Information from the recovery Logs)

A factory reset will NOT solve this Problem!!!

same here, plain 9500,and repeatable error at about 15-20% on progress bar.

if i have to do a factory reset for update, then guess i wont be updating any time soon.
