Just wondering, why do we have to perform a factory reset after every update? Seems a little excessive, considering no other phone manufacturer requires or even recommends this. I do like my Blackview phone, but I can't factory reset every 3 months or so. I have certain apps for work etc which can't be backed up and I have to get the tech team to reinstall and log them back in after every factory reset. I can't keep doing this.

A factory reset has always been recommended to avoid weird issues (like rom fixes not working propely), also related to apps. It happened to many phones, we have the numbers to say that.

Still no news for this problem?
Battery only last two days since the update from February...

Lolo,

Perhaps you could install the Ampere app. It will show how much current is being pulled from the battery. I don't know of an app to say which app is draining fastest, but I believe if you go to settings, battery, battery usage, it should show which apps are causing the most drain.

I'm not suggesting an app suddenly is pulling more than it used to, but rather that since the update, there may be something different about specific libraries the apps are using that are interfaced differently now that causes e.g. the cpu to run harder.

Issue has been tracked, a fix will come. Tech team is working on it.

Did you perform a factory reset after the update? Just read few posts behind this one.

Hi.
Yes I've done the hard reset...

For the ampere app, it's say my batterie is 9000 mAh... M'y consumption is 560ma.

Don't trust Ampere app so much, usually its readings are wrong.

Wrong or not, it can still indicate if you're charging or discharging, and even if the numbers for the capacity are wrong, the numbers for charge current match quite well against whichever charger I'm using. For instance, when using the factory charger, it shows a full on 3210 mA. When using my old Samsung charger, it shows around 1030 mA or so. When using the computer, around 500 mA (more or less). Therefore even if the capacity is indicated incorrectly, I'll continue to trust the current readings for charge and discharge, even if only relative one reading to the other. Even if it's not really charging at 1000 and discharging at 500, for example, I'll still trust that it charges twice as fast as it discharges.

But as has been said, it's being tracked, a fix will come.

Lolo, your discharge rate seems about like mine. Just a little higher, but not much. Mine as I type this is between 430 and 480 mA drain, but I have full signal on 4G LTE and Wi-Fi so the radios don't have to push so much power into the antennas, maybe your signal is not as strong and the radios have to work harder, or maybe you have more apps running in the background than I do, maybe social media running constant updates / push notifications? I don't have any of that and honestly I have only used my phone a little today, but for comparison I'm still at 80% when I had it at full charge 9 hours ago. Lot of variables go into that though.

Thank you guys.
I'm waiting for the fix.
My consumption seem the same as yours tech addict.
If I don't use to much my phone, I loose 20% for 8~9 hours. But if I start to use internet and other tools for works... It's go down in two days.. like 50% each days...
But before the update from February, for the same works, it's was 4~5 days...

Thanks everybody. I wait
