[FEATURE REQUEST] Camera Focus Sound

Thu Apr 25, 2019 2:06 am

Hello,

Was wondering if an option for the camera focus sound could be added to the options in the camera app? Similar to the option for the capture sound. This would be simple to add & could be useful for many applications.

Thanks!

Why not using a more complete 3rd party camera app like opencamera? ;)

Because I like the simplicity of the existing Camera app. I also don't want to have multiple apps for the same purpose on the phone taking up storage space.

THIS!!!  THIS!!   ABSOLUTELY THIS!!!
My biggest pet peeve with Android is the pre-loading of "system" apps that take up space and cannot be deleted, only disabled.  This is the #1 reason for me to root.  I haven't rooted the BV only because I haven't NEEDED to badly enough.  With 128 GB of space, the amount used by system apps is miniscule, but it's still an annoyance to have an app I don't know or trust sitting on my storage, "disabled" (is it really?) and not removable.
My preference would be to have just the core OS that during setup would offer a choice between a Google experience or an AOSP experience (optionally with a minimal load of Google apps like Play store and Gmail) and let us, the users, choose which apps *we* want to use and not even put the bloatware on the device at all.
