Headphone jack/adapter - no standard fit

Fri Mar 01, 2019 8:31 am

Hi,

when getting used to my new BV9500pro one main issue I am experiencing is, that any other than the standard OEM headphones do not seem to fit or rather stay in the headphone jack. They litterally are popping out or can be removed with no force - the last soft click of the OEMs is missing, which seems to be holding them into place. The plug itself does not seem to be substantially longer like on other previous Blackview phones, it is surely not 17mm, but it might approx. 0.5 mm longer depending what you take as reference for measuring. All in all I would say it is 15 mm long instead of 14.5 mm. Is there any adapter or other fix to this problem?

Regards

I highly suggest you to use bluetooth headphones, and get rid of cables, adapters, and so on ;)

That is really helpful, thanks. Are you sure you are the admin of this support forum or just some troll? Well I will see, depending what happens to this post then.

I guess I can send you in my QC25 and get QC35 then. Could you provide me the details for that please.

And I highly recommend you to use standard dimensions or stop offering this a feature.

I've had issues with headphone sockets from the beginning and never fixed very frustrating .
I would waste your money on more corded headphones . Bluetooth far better just bought Onkyo
E200BT always connect and sound far better than original supplied items .

Nice way to thank people for helping you.

Standard dimension can't be possible due to the body design (and shock proof features).

I'm now closing your thread, so that you'll have enough time to understand how to behave on forums.

Have a good day.
