No need for that, as the USB C socket has been sealed inside

These plugs aren't 100% full seal, by the way

The plug could also protect against dust and dirt I think.

The phone got rated IP68, IP69K and Mil-std, it is sealed against everything

With the port being waterproof, if it were to get so dusty, you could simply rinse it out. Maybe even a burst of air from a duster.
