Put your sd card in an external reader and format again it using a PC. Then put it back to the phone and the OS will not recognize it and ask you if you want to format it as internal memory.
Unfortunately, formatting the sd card as external memory with the phone, will lock the ability of the phone itself to format as internal.

My first phone was a  BV9500, which asked for my SD card to be formatted which I did and worked fine in that phone. It has alot of phots and videos on that SD card that I have no copies of anywhere else so i really dont want to lose them! The BV9500 died in very traumatic circumstances so i had to buy another phone.
 Now i have a 6300pro and when i inserted the SD card it asks for me to format the card again. I cannot do that untill i download the pics and vids, however when i plug into my PC or laptop they both wont recognise the SD card and asks for me to format the card!

Please help- is there a Blackview card reading driver i can use?

Hello, maybe it's the SD card problem.

I am having the same problem on my BV9800 PRO. It said the card (Samsung Evo 256) is corrupted, so I chose to format it. It freezes, nothing happens, needed to force reboot it. And now I receive "App has stopped" when trying to enter the Storage settings. ???
