BV5800 screen locked

My BV5800 screen has been locked by Norton Mobile app after I accidentally sat on it (quite gently), 5 days ago, while out on the hills - maybe the SIM card moved. All seemed to be working, just couldn't access anything through touch screen. Norton say to use the BV unlock mechanism, but don't know how to find that. Also, it's now out of charge, and doesn't take charge from the charger.
What do I do??

Norton definitely nailed your phone.
You'll have to open your phone and charge the battery with an external charger. For that, you should ask some help at a phone repair shop.
Once battery gets fully charged, you'll have to perform a factory reset from the recovery menu, following this tutorial:

Thanks for that - finally got it re-charged.
In recovery mode there are many more options than mentioned in the tutorial, viz:
Reboot system now, Reboot to bootloader, Apply update from ADB, Apply update from SD Card, Wipe data/factory reset, Wipe cache partition, Mount/System, View recovery logs, Run graphics text, Power off.
I'm guessing that the only one which might unlock the screen is going to be Wipe data/factory reset, but are there any of the others that I might safely try first?
regards

You can start with "wipe cache partition", but I doubt it'll solve the issue
