We have recently purchased an A20 model 1/8GB and on spec sheets shows can receive a TF card. Is this a TF memory card because inserting a 2GB or 32GB micro SD card does not show up in the system??

Yeah, a TF card is a MicroSD card.

I suggest to perform a factory reset of your unit and try again. Also with different (and formatted) cards.
