AT&T - United States

Fri Jun 29, 2018 1:55 am

greets - just seeking confirmation that the P10000 pro should work on AT&T in the U.S.

son bought a phone, but does not connect to the cell network.  tried multiple SIM cards, it just won't get a connection.

I've verified settings - all looks good.

phone recognizes SIM

under "Settings -> About Phone -> Status -> Sim status" it shows
- network unknown
- signal strength 0
- cell network type unknown
- service state out of service
- cell network state disconnected
- phone number (correct number)

phone is also definitely an AT&T phone.

questions
1.  does the P10000 pro work in U.S. on AT&T
2.  is there anything else I should check / verify (if #1 is true), or do I have a bad phone?

thanks in advance for the help; seems like a great phone but it's not working and that isn't so great.

Hi there! unfortunately USA carriers are not supported, as you can see also here:

You should have searched for such infos before buying it... :(

@blackview_admin -

thanks, I suspected as much.  Unfortunately my 21yr old purchased without researching.

From the link in the chart you sent, however, it DOES show it should work with 2G on AT&T.  granted not optimal, but should still work no?

Yeah, but 2G means only phone service.... forget about web surfing/whatsapp and so on.. definitely not optimal.
