Does BV8000 support the VoLTE? Or is this option going to be developed on the upcoming software release?

Yes, it is supported. But your phone carrier and coverage must support it aswell.

Thanks. My carrier started to support it, but they say, that the phone is to have an appropriate menu selection to turn this feature on. I could not find it, unfortunately. And the phone switches back to 3G during incoming voice calls.

P.S. Carrier also says, that the phone software is supposed to support their network. Sounds stupid for me, but it looks like, they are considering a special ROM for the phone...

Carrier is not supporting VoLTE

Frankly speaking, you are right. This is not support, it looks more like bull-shirt ... Their service works only inside the couple of cities, and only with the list of 20 models of phones....  And the owners of those phones are saying, that it really doesn't work properly and they are experiencing a lot of problems with VoLTE... Will wait.

don't hold your breath, unless support is build in on a future stock android, chances are you'll never be able to have descent universal VoLTE support but will always have to hope for provider-roms and they hardly ever make them for other models than what they sell you themselves
